IGT Calabria

Intense crimson red in color, the nose offers notes of wild berries, magnolia, light spices, black pepper, and a delicate hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is enveloping and harmonious, with persistent freshness and elegant, well-integrated tannins. It is made from a blend of native Greco Nero and Magliocco Canino grapes, enriched with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon: a complex, refined, and balanced wine.

It maintains the character of the previous vintage, with a greater presence of Greco Nero that enhances the vegetal and herbaceous notes, with hints of verbena. On the palate, it is full and structured, with more pronounced tannins than Pot pourri 2022 but still soft, in a balance between intensity and elegance.

The bright straw yellow colour opens the tasting of this white wine from a native grape variety with a strong personality. The fruity aroma, with exotic fruit and citrus notes and floral hints of broom, closes with slight iodine notes. In the mouth, it reveals its full personality with its significant acidity supported by a body that is unusual for a white wine. Its structure gives it an important persistence on the palate and predisposes the wine to age well over time.
